Cat 5e supports 1 gig perfectly and is about 15% cheaper to install? AND, Cat 6A is recommended for 10 gig Ethernet and is being recommended by some designers for desktop cabling.

Seven months and at least thirty floor plans ago, I was assigned to the “Greenway III Restacking” project. The project had already been in the development stage from several months so, by September I was late in stepping up to the table. The restacking schedule that I received at that point was a study in the juggling of time, space and labor such that I’ve never seen in my ten years in this company. The ensuig activity was surely one of the finest examples of teamwork and dedication I’ve ever had the pleasure of being invloved in. Every stage of each major move was miraculously completed on schedule with admirable accuracy. In addition, I’d have to write volumes to list HALF of the times that you or one of the crew went above and beyond expectations to help out or, in some instances, save the day. Instead, I’d like to simply extend my deepest gratitude to you, Ron P and Dave B for coordinating an excellent crew to meet near-impossible expectations. I also want to thank you for helping us select Data Connection to do the cabling at our building. They did a great job!
